Local Supply Chain and Industry Development Study

A detailed Local Supply Chain and Industry Development study found the project could:

  • Create approximately 1,700 jobs in South West Victoria’s economy during construction and 360 jobs during operation
  • Generate up to $1.6 billion within South West Victoria's economy during construction

We’re also working with training providers in Portland to establish learning and upskilling opportunities for workers and students.
